Welcome to the website of the International Summercamp of the Sovereign Order of Malta! Here you will find out about the IMS 2008 taking place in Stams under the motto integration and fun.
25 years ago young people with disabilities were given the opportunity for the first
time in Austria to take part in the International Camp of the Order of Malta and
to gather unusual experiences on a personal level that usally is impossible for
them to gather in the course of their daily lives due to their its physical and
mental barriers.
The 25th jubilee of this international event will once again take place in Austria
from 26th July to 2nd August in the beautiful setting of the Monastery of Stams
at the foot of the Alps in Tyrol.
The Summer Camp is organised by voluntary workers of the Order of Malta Ambulance
Service Austria, an aid organisation founded by the Sovereign Military Order of
Malta. Many helping hands, supporters and sponsors will come together to make an
unforgettable week for the participants in one of the most beautiful monasteries
in Austria.
