In the care of the Order of Malta Ambulance Service (MHDA)
True to the inspiring principles of the Order of Malta “defence of the Faith and
assistance to the poor and the suffering” the organisation MHDA founded in 1956
carries out a wide scope of voluntary work in medical and social activities in Austria.
The enormous commitment of our voluntary work enables the organisation to cover
a wide spectrum of activities ranging from disaster management, ambulance services,
emergency doctor and doctor on call services to care services for the disabled,
care services for the elderly and the sick as well as outings and regular pilgrimages.
The International Summer Camp 2008 will see our innumerable voluntary helpers, paramedics,
nurses, carers, physiotherapists, doctors and spiritual workers in action, making
it possible for us to offer individual care for all the personal needs of our participants.
