The International Summer Camp of the Order of Malta was initiated by the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. The first camp took place in Austria 25 years ago. Our mission is to make it possible for young disabled members of the Malta community to get together once a year, to get to know a different country and most of all to have a good time.

Since its creation the camp has seen most of Europe: Germany for the World Youth Day, Sweden, Switzerland and Spain and almost all the other European countries have hosted the camp so far.

For its 25th anniversary, the camp will be held once more in Austria. Over 500 participants from 20 countries will come together under the motto „Take me higher“ to make new friends and to overcome personal barriers. They will be given an opportunity to rise above personal difficulties, a unique and wonderful experience in an extraordinary atmosphere.
